Guttman Residence
Miami, 2004

In creating a new home environment for former Bay Area residents in a Miami high-rise, design would successfully strike a balance between creating a place for living and collecting art. Art and architecture merge in function and perception. Varied textures of natural stone, dark Wenge wood paneling, and stainless and glass accents create subtle drama of material, chromatic progression, and contrast where the art and architecture are intrinsically dependent upon each other for poetically communicating one cohesive thought.

Bedrooms and baths maintain a diminished degree of separation to encourage free movement throughout one space.
